A large parc that enjoys a superb lakeside setting, making it ideal for watersport enthusiasts and sun worshippers alike. Ideally situated on the banks of a fabulous natural lake and surrounded by the wooded foothills of the Jura, Domaine de Chalain is a quite spectacular parc. It features a fantastic pool complex with waterslides, children's pool, jacuzzi and heated indoor pool, not to mention a wide range of sporting activities, though some may not be available until July, when the parc can be quite lively. Camp4Less customers are entitled to free access to the pool according to a credit system for entry, please ask at time of booking. The adjoining lakeside beach is a great place to soak up the sun, but you can also fish, swim, or hire a pedalo or canoe. There are also many beautiful walks and gorgeous wine villages to be explored and the many attractions of Switzerland are within easy reach.

Chateau d'Arlay
The château, a former convent, has immaculate gardens, with fun being the theme. The trees and plants are laid out in a scheme to resemble a number of games such as croquet, dominoes and draughts. Since 1994 the château has been home to the centre for wild fauna species including owls and birds of prey
Les Grottes de la Balme
The caves of La Balme are particularly surprising because of the richness and diversity of their underground phenomena. Animations allow discovery of the beauty of the cave (stalactites and stalagmites) via a light and sound show. Infra-red cameras allow the visitor to observe the bats which live in the caves. A visit lasts 1hr 30 mins
Maison de Louis Pasteur
Guided visit to discover the house where Louis Pasteur spent his childhood. The house has been retained exactly as it was in Pasteur's day
Touro Parc en Beaujolais
Touro Parc is a wildlife park and leisure park combined with a number of small railways to help get around the park. There is a waterpark which opens in high season only. The wildlife park has over 800 animals from around the world. There are good restaurants and eating facilities

All swimming pools 5.90 adults & children over 6 yrs, 2.50 children 2 - 6 yrs or 68 1 x book of passes = 20 admissions. The above rules apply because the pool is also open to the public.
